It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Mrs Betty Hoskins, wife of the foundation Chairman of the College Board of Governors, Mr Don Hoskins. Betty Hoskins was very much involved in the early years of Oxley, both in the planning stages before the College started and in the first years of Oxley’s existence.
She was a gracious hostess and most welcoming of anyone who joined the Oxley community. When her husband retired as Chairman her daughter, Rosie, later joined the Board of Governors.
Betty Hoskins died on Saturday 5 March 2016 in Berry Hospital after suffering a stroke. Our sincere condolences to Rosie and all members of the Hoskins’ family.
A memorial service to celebrate her long & fruitful life will be held at the Berry Courthouse, Victoria Street Berry on Wednesday 4 May at 11:30am
