Can you please share a little bit about yourself and your involvement with Oxley College life?
I moved to Oxley from Bondi in 2020, and since then, I have enjoyed participating in various sporting opportunities and ethical programs at the college. I've played netball, basketball, and touch football, and have also been fortunate enough to attend lectures and engage with inspiring speakers in the Centre of Ethics Speaker Series.
What is your favourite subject and why?
I love the sciences, specifically biology and chemistry, as I enjoy exploring how the world around us functions.
Can you tell us about a memorable project or activity you've done this year?
This year, my year group and I went on the annual Outback trip, a two-week journey to Uluru and back. This experience was invaluable for strengthening relationships with my cohort and teachers, which is especially important as we approach Year 12.
What do you feel is special about the Oxley environment and community?
Oxley's OLE week, the first week of Term 4, is the distinguishing aspect of the school I find the most valuable. Each year group travels somewhere different, briefly distancing us from an education restricted to academia, and allowing us to develop beyond the classroom.
